TMB Stock Summary · July 2026

Management struck an upbeat tone, saying the quarter delivered record growth, record income and the highest profit in the bank’s 105-year history, while still keeping risk and funding discipline at the centre of the strategy. Total business rose 23%, net profit increased 34.97%, and net interest income grew 32.01%, with profitability improving to a 2.14% ROA and 15.93% ROE. At the same time, management emphasized that growth was being built deliberately through deposit mobilisation, strong advances in retail, agriculture and MSME, and continued focus on gold loans, where the mix is shifting toward tonnage and faster acquisition rather than relying on higher prices. They also acknowledged some tension between the growth push and funding mix pressure, as current accounts softened even while term deposits and overall deposits reached record levels. Asset quality was described as stable to improving, with GNPA below 1%, and capital and liquidity remained strong. Looking ahead, management raised full-year guidance for advances to 21%–22%, lifted deposit growth and business growth targets, and said NIM is now expected to exceed 4%, with GNPA still expected to stay below 1%.
