WONDERLA Stock Summary · May 2026

Management framed the quarter as a record performance, with revenue from operations of INR 135.0 crore (up 40% YoY) and quarterly footfalls of about 8.79 lakh (up ~30% YoY), driven by higher guest spend and a quickly scaling Chennai park, while also stressing caution on short‑term visibility. Executives emphasized priorities around accelerating non‑ticket monetization (per‑head non‑ticket revenue rising from under INR 200 to over INR 450 and a target mix moving toward 40/60 then 50/50), rolling out resorts at owned sites, securing Tier‑1 city sites, and maintaining A&P at 7–8% to support launches. They acknowledged tensions between strong park-level performance and consolidated margin compression—FY26 EBITDA margins of ~31% versus mature park norms of 40–45%—attributable to launch costs, corporate overheads and one‑time items, and noted FY26 PAT fell to INR 81.7 crore (down ~25%) largely due to the absence of a prior deferred tax benefit. Near term, management reiterated that Chennai will take 3–4 years to mature, incremental depreciation of ~INR 45–50 crore will hit FY2027, sustaining capex is expected at ~INR 35–40 crore, and margins should normalize as new parks settle amid mixed Q1 trends and seasonal risks.
