DMCC Stock Summary · May 2026

Management framed the quarter as strong top‑line growth offset by margin pressure from input‑cost pass‑through and supply shocks. Q4 revenue rose to INR 177 crore and FY26 sales reached INR 582 crore, with management attributing the annual topline expansion largely to higher raw‑material and finished‑product pricing; however, percentage margins declined even as absolute margins were maintained. They emphasized keeping plants running, a low sulfur inventory policy of about 15–20 days per site, and accelerating a strategic shift toward higher‑value specialties by increasing R&D after historically low spends, targeting specialty commercialization around FY27–FY28. Management also described clear operational tensions: a Middle East‑linked sulfur supply crisis and an earlier boron ore interruption caused plant downtime (Roha was deliberately run at roughly 60% for about 15 days) and drove higher working capital and short‑term borrowings at ~8.75–9%, though the working‑capital‑to‑sales ratio remains under two months. Near term, operations have returned to normal, inventories are adequate, and management expects realizations to recover in the subsequent quarter, while timing for sulfur normalization remains unclear.
