CENTRALBK Stock Summary · May 2026

Strong balance-sheet momentum and double-digit annual profit growth contrasted with a one‑time tax accounting hit that reduced Q4 earnings, while management reiterated an assertive growth and risk‑management agenda. Total business grew 15.6% to INR 812,439 crore and FY26 net profit rose 15.4% to INR 4,369 crore, underpinned by deposit and loan expansion and a strengthened CASA mix, but Q4 profit fell materially after a non‑recurring deferred tax accounting charge even as a separate tax‑interest refund buoyed reported quarter metrics. Leadership emphasized RAM-led growth (retail, agriculture, MSME), selective corporate underwriting, recovery actions on written‑off assets and sizeable technology and people investment to scale origination and monitoring, while acknowledging margin pressure from treasury yield volatility and deposit/loan repricing asymmetry. They flagged preparedness for ECL transition with substantial conservative provisioning taken and available reserves to absorb the day‑one impact, targeted slippages below 1.0%, and reiterated FY27 guidance of roughly 14–15% business growth, advances 14–16% and deposit growth 10–12%, aiming to keep NIM above 3%.
