SYMPHONY Stock Summary · May 2026

Cautious near‑term outlook as FY26 consolidated revenue fell 28% YoY to ₹1,131 crore and the company reported a consolidated PAT loss of ₹141 crore. Management conveyed a pragmatic, balance‑sheet‑first tone, describing large impairments in Australia, a board decision to stop further capital allocation there, and a March capital action that deployed roughly ₹165 crore to retire subsidiary loans while leaving consolidated treasury of ₹287 crore; they also ring‑fenced U.S. operations through an acquisition and IPR purchases and plan to remit about ₹52 crore to reduce a guaranteed working‑capital loan. They highlighted BISP as nearly half of consolidated revenue and profitability‑accretive with high‑single‑digit EBITDA margins, and stressed product‑portfolio breadth to defend market share amid aggressive pricing. There is clear tension between resilient gross margins in the mid‑40s and compressed EBITDA as operating leverage faded, compounded by channel inventory overhang that weighed on sales; management said demand began recovering late March/April, expects a 4–6 week seasonally driven summer sales runway from May, and needs 2–3 weeks of weather clarity before issuing firmer growth guidance.
