PATELENG Stock Summary · August 2026
Management’s message was that profitability improved while the core hydropower-led business continued to provide strong multi-year visibility. Consolidated revenue rose modestly to Rs. 1,281 crore in Q1 FY27, but PAT increased 24.5% year on year to Rs. 93.5 crore as EBITDA margin expanded to 14.02%, helped by better execution, cost discipline and project mix. Hydropower remained the dominant revenue driver at 68%, and management said the order book of Rs. 14,636 crore was still heavily weighted to hydro, supporting a similar revenue mix over the next two years. It also pointed to about Rs. 9,000 crore of bids under evaluation and a near-term opportunity pipeline of roughly Rs. 60,000 crore, while targeting about Rs. 8,000 crore of new orders this year. Execution progress across projects such as Subansiri Lower, Kiru-Kwar and the Sleemanabad tunnel was highlighted, alongside the long-term opportunity in hydropower, pump storage and tunneling. Management kept a disciplined tone, reiterating that margins should stay in the 13%–14% range and that around 10% revenue growth is expected in FY27, with a larger second-half contribution.
