MAMATA Stock Summary · June 2026

Management characterised the call as one of strategic momentum offset by cyclical headwinds, reporting FY26 revenue of Rs.233.1 crore and EBITDA of Rs.19.1 crore (8.2% margin) as evidence of the near‑term squeeze. They struck a measured, constructive tone: prioritising a push in packaging (domestic packaging grew strongly and management reiterated a 30–40% domestic growth target for FY27), commercialising RecTech with multi‑month pilot timelines, and building European, African and SE Asia channels while keeping a debt‑free balance sheet and Rs.69.26 crore of cash as a strategic buffer. Management acknowledged clear tension—nearly 50% export contraction led by the U.S., tariff and geopolitical disruptions, commodity inflation and one‑off items (employee provisioning, higher exhibition spend) depressed margins—but pointed to a Rs.89.6 crore order book and specific packaging machine wins as offsetting positives. They reiterated that most margin compression is temporary and expect EBITDA to normalize toward ~20% as one‑offs roll off and revenue recovers, noting several orders are executable in the next two months.
