KPIL Stock Summary · May 2026

Management framed FY26 as a year of strong growth coupled with decisive balance‑sheet repair, with consolidated revenue up 22% to INR 27,143 crore and consolidated net debt down by more than half to INR 915 crore. Management emphasized disciplined operations, a strategic shift in business mix and operating leverage as drivers of margin expansion, while prioritizing cash conversion, selective capex for plant modernization and monetization of non‑core assets to further strengthen liquidity. They highlighted a record backlog and broad sector pipelines supporting visibility for the year ahead, even as they acknowledged a clear contrast between robust order momentum and pockets of underperformance: Water was the sole laggard with negative cash flow and elevated receivables that management expects to recover largely within two quarters, and execution was recently affected by supply‑chain delays, labor tightness and diesel cost risk—though commodity and forex exposures are substantially hedged. Near term, management reiterated plans to fund targeted capex from internal cash flow, pursue monetizations, and said sectoral tendering and awards are expected to pick up later in the fiscal year.
