BORORENEW Stock Summary · July 2026
Management presented a picture of strong operating momentum, supported by firm pricing, higher volumes, and a sharp improvement in profitability. Standalone Q1 FY27 sales rose 53% year over year to INR405.69 crores, while EBITDA increased to about INR142 crores and margins held at 35% of sales, with management noting margins stayed above 33% for a fourth straight quarter. The main revenue driver was realizations, which reached INR160 including the full INR9.50 fuel surcharge used to offset earlier energy cost pressure, even as the surcharge is now being gradually trimmed as fuel and gas prices ease. Management also highlighted a major shift in energy sourcing, with a new solar-wind captive plant lifting renewable power use to 93% of quarterly needs and reducing annual power costs by about INR18 crores. Demand for Indian solar glass was described as very strong, helped by policy support and import duties, while the ongoing 600 TPD expansion remains on schedule for completion by December 2026 and commissioning in Q4 FY27, with full revenue contribution expected from FY28. Near term, management expects stable gross margins, limited volatility, and continued margin improvement versus last year.
