Asian Hotels (East) Ltd consolidated sales down 21.73% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 42.40%Asian Hotels (East) Ltd share price gained 4.15% to Rs 146.95. The Company's net profit tanked by 42.40% to Rs 4.32 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 21.73% to Rs 26.87 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Hotels & Resorts industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.42 lakh crore, tumbling by 17.98%. It has slipped by 2.71% over last one week and gained upto 6.48% in last one month while the market capitalization of Asian Hotels (East) Ltd has eased by 2% and 9.85% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Asian Hotels (East) Ltd stood at Rs 5.82 crore in Q2 FY26, nosediving by 216.63% year-on-year, and plunging by 43.88% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 6 crore, rising 3.55% YoY and tanking 47.81% sequentially. Total expenses fell by 10.42% to Rs 21.67 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 2.99 crore, contracting by 16.01% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 6.55 crore, slipping by 1.95% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew marginally by 8.20% to Rs 122.29 crore, while net profit tumbled by 434.70% to Rs 58.64 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA plunged by 1173% to Rs 36.54 crore, and PBT collapsed by 281.64% to Rs 49.37 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 22.27 crore in FY26, as against Rs 0.39 crore in FY25. Asian Hotels (East) Ltd fell 6.56% in last one year, significantly underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.83% during the same period.
