SANOFI Stock Summary · August 2026

Management presented a picture of solid diabetes-led growth alongside disciplined cost control and a cautious view on some non-core businesses. Diabetes remained the main engine, with Q2 growth of around 14% and H1 growth of 17%, supported by Toujeo, Soliqua and the broader insulin franchise, while the company said it remains the basal analog market leader and expects the segment to outgrow the market. Management also stressed that public-sector expansion and stronger Indian real-world evidence are helping widen access and reinforce product positioning, particularly in tier-two and tier-three markets. At the same time, the partnership portfolio was described as distorted by prior-year inventory and return effects, with Q2 growth of 2% below expectations and management saying 2027 is a more realistic inflection point. Profitability improved, with PBT and exceptional items up 19% to INR 112 crores and PBT margin rising to 27%, while cash grew 34%. Looking ahead, management said exports remain under pressure, buybacks are not part of current strategy, and diabetes should continue to lead growth, with 2026 viewed as an acceleration year.
