NOCIL Stock Summary · May 2026
Strong operational momentum contrasted with near‑term margin pressure: Q4 revenue from operations was Rs.330 crore while Q4 operating EBITDA fell to Rs.21 crore (6.4% margin), reflecting management’s emphasis on volume-led recovery even as costs weighed on profitability. Management stressed that volumes are the central priority—Q4 volumes rose 7% sequentially and an index level of 150 (Q1 FY20=100) was cited as a new baseline—with a reiterated ambition of double‑digit volume growth in FY27–FY28 and spare capacity to support ramp. They framed recent investments—completion of the merchant‑oriented Dahej project and a Rs.130 crore specialty capex—to improve mix and operating leverage, funded largely from working‑capital actions that generated ~Rs.170–180 crore of cash and no project debt drawn to date. At the same time they acknowledged margin compression from higher gas/utility costs, shutdown maintenance and inventory impacts, plus price pressure from dumped imports and uncertain antidumping relief (final government decision and duty quantum pending). Near term, management expects H2 momentum and pricing benefits to show up in the coming quarter while monitoring raw‑material and regulatory risks closely.

NOCIL Stock News & Opinions
NOCIL will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 3 August 2026.
The duties follow an investigation by the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), which found that exporters from the subject countries were selling the product in India at unfairly low prices. The probe concluded that such imports led to price undercutting and suppressed domestic selling prices. The authority found that the landed value of imports remained below the domestic industry's cost of sales during the investigation period. Under the notification, anti-dumping duties ranging from US$75 per metric tonne to US$1,748 per metric tonne have been imposed, depending on the country of origin and the producer. The levy will remain in force for five years unless revoked or amended earlier. The decision is expected to benefit domestic manufacturers led by NOCIL, India's largest rubber chemicals producer. NOCIL manufactures Sulphenamides Accelerators under its Pilcure brand, a product widely used in the vulcanisation process that enhances the strength, durability and performance of tyres and other rubber products. NOCIL, a part of the Arvind Mafatlal Group, is the largest manufacturer of rubber chemicals in India. With a presence in more than 40 countries, NOCIL serves a diverse range of sectors, including tire, automotive, rubber goods and various industrial applications.
