MOL Stock Summary · August 2026
Management’s message was one of softer near-term demand offset by stronger profitability and continued investment in future growth. Revenue for Q1 FY27 fell 12% year over year to about INR523 crores on a standalone basis, mainly because volumes declined roughly 17%, with Latin America cited as the biggest source of weakness, yet pricing and product-mix actions helped protect margins. Standalone EBITDA still rose 16% to roughly INR94 crores and net profit increased 42% to nearly INR58 crores, while consolidated EBITDA expanded to INR97.9 crores with margin improving to 18% from 10.9% a year earlier. Management emphasized Crop Protection as the core growth engine, supported by new registrations and product development, and said Crop Nutrition is still early but seeing encouraging traction from Nano products, including overseas trial orders. At the same time, Pigments remained under pressure at 40% to 50% utilization, TiO2 stayed suspended, and the company continued deleveraging, with debt down to about INR555 crores standalone. Near term, management expects low channel inventories to support normalization, consolidated EBITDA margins to settle in the 12% to 13% range, and volume recovery to depend on raw material and market conditions.
