McLeod Russel India Limited announced it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Jaynath Tea Estate for the disposal of assets of its Tarajulie Tea Estate in Assam, for Rs 22,75,00,000, excluding applicable taxes and outstanding statutory dues. The disposal is part of a debt restructuring plan approved by National Asset Reconstruction Company Limited acting through India Debt Resolution Company Limited, and is expected to be completed by October 31, 2026, subject to necessary approvals.

Mcleod Russel India Ltd share price declined by 2.81% to Rs 46.38 after the company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 81.59% to Rs 13.38 crore, while revenue from operations gained significantly 100.31% to Rs 261.11 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. EBITDA tumbled by 12429% to Rs 13.11 crore, and PBT collapsed by 32.36% to Rs 244.57 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 72.41 crore in FY26, as against Rs 34.28 crore in FY25. Mcleod Russel India Ltd rallied 27.59% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.05% during the same period.
