JDCABLES Stock Summary · June 2026
Strong FY26 growth but near‑term cash and margin pressures as management pursues rapid capacity and product expansion. Total income rose to INR 365 crore (up 45.7% year‑on‑year) and the company carried an order book of about INR 515 crore as of March 31, 2026, underpinning revenue visibility; management emphasized disciplined execution, widening customer demand across power, infrastructure and industrial sectors, and a strategic shift into higher‑margin premium conductors and recurring EPC work. They described a confident, execution‑oriented tone while acknowledging tension between volume growth and cash/margin dynamics: EBITDA margin slipped from roughly 15% to ~12% amid elevated expenses and large‑volume supplies, and investor analysis flagged an operating cash deficit of about INR 70 crore driven by a longer working‑capital cycle. Operational priorities were commissioning new conductor and cable lines, completing conditional capex of roughly INR 20–30 crore (about INR 20 crore cited), procuring adjacent land and securing approvals, and scaling EPC (FY27 conservatively expected at a minimum of INR 200 crore); near term they target 70%–80% utilization after a September ramp and an order‑book target of INR 700–800 crore by March 31, 2027.
