HITECH Stock Summary · August 2026

Management described a strong start to FY27, with operating momentum holding up despite geopolitical disruption and demand remaining firm across infrastructure and construction end markets. Sales volume rose to 156,136 metric tons from 124,000 a year earlier, while revenue increased 79% year on year and EBITDA grew 20%, supported by higher scale and ramp-up of new capacity. Alongside the volume growth, management emphasised a sharper focus on value-added and differentiated products, continued portfolio expansion, and deeper participation in higher-margin applications such as DFT, API pipes, coated steel products and solar torque tubes. They also highlighted early traction in data centers and a growing export business, with repeat orders and a target for overseas sales to reach about 10% of revenue over the next 2 to 3 years. At the same time, profitability remained under pressure from elevated gas, logistics and freight costs, with EBITDA per ton around INR 3,200, although management expects improvement as new plants reach critical mass and sees a path toward INR 4,000.
