BAJAJ-AUTO Stock Summary · May 2026

Management framed the quarter as a record year of scale and profitability tempered by near‑term cost and supply pressures, reporting FY'26 revenue of nearly INR 59,000 crore and EBITDA above INR 12,000 crore with margins around 20.5%. They emphasised broad‑based strength across domestic and export markets — quarterly revenue was INR 16,006 crore with volumes of 1.37 million units — and highlighted export momentum and rapid electric adoption, with Chetak exceeding 100,000 retail units in the quarter and the combined electric two‑ and three‑wheeler business now contributing just over 20% of domestic revenue and double‑digit EBITDA. At the same time management acknowledged significant commodity spikes (material cost inflation estimated at ~3.5–4.0% of revenue) and outbound logistics/vendor disruptions that cut serviceability by roughly 10–15% in April, noting pricing recovered about 40% of the cost hit and cost programs are being accelerated. They closed by saying they are executing month‑by‑month procurement and supplier actions, expect constraints to ease over time, and will proceed with planned product introductions (from July) while maintaining strong cash generation.

Nifty below 24,000 level; European mrkt advance

The key equity benchmarks traded trade sharply lower in afternoon trade as investor sentiment remained under pressure after Brent crude prices climbed above the $93-per-barrel mark amid the escalating West Asia conflict.
