PARKHOTELS Stock Summary · August 2026

Management struck a broadly constructive but still cautious tone, saying demand remained resilient even as geopolitical disruptions temporarily affected international travel and air connectivity. The company reported about 92% occupancy and said it outperformed the market on RevPAR, while revenue rose 10% and EBITDA grew 8% including other income, even though ADR came under pressure from the West Asia crisis, oil-related pressures in India and softer domestic air travel. Management emphasised that the business remains resilient, with limited quality room supply in key markets, but also acknowledged that PAT fell year on year because higher finance costs from expansion and a deferred tax provision pushed the tax rate to around 40%. Strategic focus remained on selective, asset-light growth across hotels and consumer formats, including Flurys’ expansion to 111 outlets and a hotel pipeline that will lift keys to 3,149 from 2,677. Near term, management expects ADR to recover as conditions normalise, tax burden to ease, and the current year’s capex of about INR 200-250 crore to remain manageable.
