AEQUS Stock Summary · August 2026
Management said the quarter marked a broad-based step-up in performance, with revenue rising 55% year on year to INR3,955 million as aerospace and consumer businesses both accelerated. Aerospace remained the anchor, with revenue up 40% and the order book crossing USD1,004 million, while consumer electronics contributed a larger share of the mix as the Hubballi ramp began to convert capacity into sales. Reported EBITDA was INR215 million at a 5% margin, but management stressed that operational EBITDA better captured execution, rising from INR42 million in Q4 to INR148 million in Q1 as the consumer loss narrowed. The tone was constructive, with emphasis on building long-term scale through new tier-1 aerospace wins, the first integrated Airbus A320 wheels contract, and plans to evaluate faster capex for delivery timelines. At the same time, management acknowledged consumer electronics was still loss-making and that margin pressure came from costs moving into the P&L. Near term, it expects consumer EBITDA break-even by Q4 FY27, utilization to rise toward 40% to 50% by Q4, and no disruption from tariff-related shifts.
