ADFFOODS Stock Summary · August 2026
ADF Foods described a fourth straight quarter of double-digit growth, with Q1 FY27 revenue rising 25.9% year on year to INR167.3 crores, even as geopolitical and logistics disruptions persisted. Management said the top line was supported by deeper shelf-space penetration, broader category reach and new product listings, while profitability also improved, with consolidated EBITDA up 26% to INR29.7 crores and PAT up 13.4% to INR17.3 crores. At the same time, freight inflation remained the main drag on margins, estimated at about 3% of revenue and reflected in a 17.7% EBITDA margin, although the company said it has begun passing higher freight costs through to customers and is working with shipping lines on better rates. Management also highlighted growth in the U.S. Truly Indian brand, progress in India for Soul, and the start of commercial shipments from the Surat facility. Looking ahead, it reiterated FY27 revenue above INR900 crores, a high-teen EBITDA margin excluding tariff refunds, and a margin recovery toward 16%–17% as logistics pressures ease, assuming geopolitical conditions improve.

Bimal Thakkar, chairman & managing director, said: 'Despite prevailing challenges including tariffs, West Asia conflict, and supply chain issues, our business saw continued momentum fueled by significant traction from listings secured in the past few quarters and strengthening our brand penetration and distribution across all our key markets. Our flagship brand, Ashoka, continues to strengthen its market presence driven by strong diaspora demand, and our mainstream brand, Truly Indian has exceeded expectations with a marked acceleration in its growth trajectory. We have successfully commenced operations at our Surat greenfield facility in Q4FY26 with scale up planned over the coming quarters. We continue to witness strong brand-led traction, supported by deeper penetration. The ongoing West Asia situation poses near-term challenges to GCC sales, freight costs, and transit timelines. However, with our sustained focus on execution excellence and operational discipline, we remain cautiously optimistic in our ability to maintain the current growth trajectory over the long term.'
