Revenue from operation rose by 8.6% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 6,483 crore in Q3 FY26. Cement sales volumes added up to 11.3 million tonnes (up 15% YoY) and that of Ready-Mix Concrete aggregated to 0.97 million cubic metres (up 36% YoY). Total expenses increased 19% to Rs 6,114 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 5,144 crore a year ago, led by higher power and fuel costs, freight and forwarding expenses, and depreciation charges. Operating EBITDA declined 37.3% to Rs 700 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 1,116 crore in Q3 FY25. EBITDA margin for Q3 FY26 was 10.8% as against 18.7% in Q3 FY25. Profit before tax stood at Rs 460 crore in Q3 FY26, down by 68.9% from Rs 1,477 crore recorded in Q3 FY25. Vinod Bahety, whole-time director & CEO, ACC, said: 'We have sustained our growth momentum with another strong quarter, delivering our highest ever quarterly volumes. Higher trade and premium cement sales, alongside continued expansion in RMX, have supported better realizations than industry peers and strengthened our market position in core regions. We remain focused on resolving specific cost levers as part of our blueprint, particularly power costs, increasing the share of green power, fuel efficiency, improved WHRS and AFR utilization, and tighter logistics costs. The proposed integration into the 'One Cement Platform' is expected to accelerate both efficiency and growth, enabling deeper synergies across procurement, manufacturing and distribution once statutory approvals are completed. On the market side, our premium portfolio, led by ACC Gold, continues to deliver superior EBITDA margins, and the increasing share of Trade and Premium is expected to sustain realization advantages.' However, revenue from operations shed to Rs 6,036.11 crore in Q1 FY26 as against Rs 6,039.70 crore reported in Q4 FY25. On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, net profit rose 4.35%, while total income increased 18.05% in Q1 FY26. Profit before tax (PBT) stood at Rs 562.95 crore in Q1 FY26, marking a 16.29% increase from Rs 484.06 crore reported in the same quarter last year. Operating EBITDA jumped 14.58% to Rs 778 crore in Q1 FY26, compared to Rs 679 crore reported in the same quarter last year. The EBITDA margin reduced to 12.8% in Q1 FY26 from 13.1% in Q1 FY25. Sales volume of cement and clinker stood at 11.5 million tonnes (MT) in Q1 FY26, up from 10.2 MT in Q1 FY25, reflecting a 12.74% year-on-year growth. Kiln fuel cost declined by 10% from Rs 1.73 to Rs 1.56 per '000 Kcal. Thermal value at 738 kCal improved by 1 Kcal YoY, expect to improve further in coming quarters driven by capex-based efficiency improvement projects. On outlook front, the company said that cement demand growth in Q1 FY'26 remained strong at 4% amid favourable macroeconomic situations and sustained demand from housing and infrastructure segments. Outlook for Q2 FY'26 continues to remain strong. For FY'26, cement demand is expected to grow between 6% to 7% due to rise in demand for affordable housing (both rural and urban), higher spending on infrastructure and commercial sector, which includes increased investment in core and allied infrastructure sector. The domestic equity indices traded with moderate losses in the early afternoon trade as investors awaited cues from a possible India-US trade deal and the kick-off of the June-quarter earnings season, with TCS scheduled to report its results later today. Nifty traded below at 25,400 level. PSU Bank shares witnessed selling pressure for the fourth consecutive trading session. At 12:26 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex declined 270.06 points or 0.32% to 83,264.02. The Nifty 50 index fell 87.60 points or 0.33% to 25,390.20. In the broader market, the S&P BSE Mid-Cap index shed 0.39% and the S&P BSE Small-Cap index declined 0.06%. The market breadth was negative. On the BSE, 1,782 shares rose and 2,036 shares fell. A total of 195 shares were unchanged. Derivatives: The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of the market's expectation of volatility over the near term, was flat at 11.94.
