TITAN Stock Summary · August 2026
Management said Q1 FY27 was a very strong quarter, with broad-based growth across businesses, brands and subsidiaries, driven mainly by volume and buyer growth even in a less favorable operating environment. Jewellery performance was helped by a sizable ₹407 crores customs-duty-related realization benefit and by inventory mark-to-market gains from the gap between international and domestic gold prices, although management said these benefits will unwind over the next 2 to 3 quarters as stock is sold. Underlying jewellery demand softened for about three weeks through late May because of Adhik Maas and the duty change, but activity improved in early June and management viewed the weakness as deferred rather than lost demand. Studded jewellery remained the standout growth driver, while the Tanishq Mia Zoya normalized EBIT margin was 10.9%, close to the company’s around-11% centre of gravity. Internationally, Damas was hit by war-related demand weakness and became loss-making in the quarter, though the full-year outlook remains positive. Management gave no fresh EBIT or margin guidance because of volatile gold prices and an uncertain environment.
