Mahindra & Mahindra has completed the execution of a share purchase agreement for acquisition of an additional 28.03% stake in Carnot Technologies from certain promoters of Carnot. Post completion of the transaction, the company's holding in Carnot will increased to 80.72% of the paid-up equity share capital and collectively 89% in terms of voting rights. This increase in stake is in line with the Company's belief in the long-term potential of precision farming and telematics technology. Carnot would continue to be the subsidiary of the company.
Mahindra & Mahindra has appointed Suchi Suri as the Executive Vice President - Mahindra Experiences effective from 14 May 2026, who shall also form part of Senior Management Personnel of the Company.
Mahindra & Mahindra saw a 20x growth in the number of patents granted - from 56 patents granted since inception in FY16 to 1334 in FY26. Cumulative tally of applications filed by M&M stands at 2,728 as of March 2026, indicating M&M's drive for innovation and excellence. Of the 1334 granted patents, 60% of them pertain to Automotive Business and 40% to Farm Business. Conversion ratio of applications to patents stood at 8% in FY16 and has improved to 65%+ for the applications filed over the last decade. The growth in M&M's patent portfolio, reflects the company's growing R&D capabilities. This growing innovative heft has allowed the company to push the boundaries and create a technologically immersive experience for its customers. The patent portfolio also includes filings made by M&M subsidiary Mahindra Electric Automobile. In addition to the patents, the company has won several prestigious awards for excellence in innovation. In the last one year alone, M&M has won the CII IP Award for the Best Patent Portfolio, the CII Innovation Award for being one of India's Top 50 Innovative Companies 2025, the CII National Award for Industry-Academia Partnership, the Questel IP Excellence Award and recognition at the CMO Asia Awards 2025.
The production increased 13.24% to 102,701 units in March 2026, while exports declined 6.61% YoY to 4,042 units in March 2026. Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) Group enjoys a leadership position in farm equipment, utility vehicles, information technology, and financial services in India. The company's consolidated net profit jumped 47% to Rs 4674.64 crore on 24.4% increase in net sales to Rs 51579.95 crore in Q3 FY26 over Q3 FY25. The counter fell 1.89% to Rs 3,200 on the BSE.
In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 60,272 vehicles in the domestic market, reflecting 25% growth, while exports fell 4% YoY to 3,968 units in March 2026. Domestic sales for commercial vehicles grew 11% to 24,928 units. For the financial year, M3.5T), marking robust YoY growth of 20% and 13%, respectively, across both segments. Meanwhile, the company's farm equipment business domestic sales in March 2026 rose to 43,403 units, up from 32,582 units in March 2025, marking a 33% year-on-year growth. Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) during March 2026 stood at 45,035 units, up 29% YoY from 34,934 units a year ago. However, tractor exports for the month fell 31% YoY to 1,632 units. Veejay Nakra, President ' Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra, said, 'We have sold 43,403 tractors in the domestic market during March 2026 registering a robust growth of 33% over last year. A significant part of this high growth was driven by the full Navratri season falling entirely in March'26, unlike last year when it was split between March and April. We ended FY26 with the highest ever sales of 5,05,930 registering growth of 24%. In the exports market, we have sold 1,632 tractors.' Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) Group enjoys a leadership position in farm equipment, utility vehicles, information technology, and financial services in India. Mahindra & Mahindra announced that its overall sales including exports in the Trucks and Buses business (CV 3.5T) for the month of March 2026 stood at 4267 vehicles, a y-o-y growth of 13%. Mahindra's Trucks & Buses business comprises of Mahindra Trucks & Buses division (MTBD) and SML Mahindra (SML).

Domestic tractors sales rose 33% to 43,403 units while exports declined 31% to 1,632 units in March. For FY2026, the company sold 5,26,403 tractors, recording a growth of 24%. Domestic tractors sales rose 24% to 5,05,930 units while exports rose 17% to 20,473 units in FY2026. Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President - Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra said 'We have sold 43,403 tractors in the domestic market during March 2026 registering a robust growth of 33% over last year. A significant part of this high growth was driven by the full Navratri season falling entirely in March'26, unlike last year when it was split between March and April. We ended FY26 with highest ever sales of 5,05,930 registering growth of 24%. In the exports market, we have sold 1632 tractors.'
Mahindra & Mahindra achieves total sales of 11,02,866 units in FY 2026 compared to 9,28,028 units in FY 2025, recording a growth of 19%. Total sales include domestic sales of 10,61,876 units (up 19% YoY) and exports of 40,990 units (up 18% YoY).
Mahindra & Mahindra achieved total sales of 99,969 units in month of March 2026 compared to 82,431 units in March 2025, recording a growth of 21%. For March 2026, domestic sales stood at 96,001 units (up 23% YoY) comprising of 60,272 passenger vehicle units (up 25% YoY) and 35,729 commercial vehicle and three wheeler units (up 18% YoY). Export were at 3,968 units (down 4% YoY).
