TIIL Stock Summary · August 2026
Management struck a generally positive but cautious tone, highlighting broad demand strength across several businesses while stressing that recent margin gains may not be durable. Quarterly revenue was split mainly between Steel Scaffolding at Rs. 240 crores and Mach One aluminum at Rs. 165 crores, and the company said its fully integrated aluminum extrusion setup continued to support EBIT and the bottom line even though the plant has been running at full capacity since March quarter and added no incremental volume in Q1. Mach One volumes were down year on year because of project and site readiness timing, not competition, and management said it is prioritizing customer quality, profitability, and measured expansion over rapid growth. Drum Closures delivered record revenue, EBIT margin and absolute EBIT, with margin around 43% helped by higher volumes and rupee depreciation, though management reiterated that above-30% is the sustainable long-term level. It also pointed to early orders for the JT Cooler, modest but improving Europe sales after certification, and stronger U.S. scaffolding demand. Near term, it said no significant new capex is planned this year beyond maintenance and sustainable margin assumptions remain unchanged.
