Dr. Reddy's Laboratories reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,594 crore for the quarter ended March 2025 (Q4FY25), marking a 22% year-on-year increase from Rs 1,307 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations rose 20% year-on-year to Rs 8,506 crore, compared to Rs 7,083 crore in Q4FY24. Swiggy reported a net loss of Rs 1,081.18 crore for the quarter ended March 2025 (Q4 FY25), nearly doubling from Rs 554.77 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 44.8% year-on-year to Rs 4,410.02 crore in Q4FY25. Reliance Power reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 125.60 crore for Q4 FY25, marking a significant turnaround from a net loss of Rs 397.56 crore in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations grew by 0.93%, reaching Rs 1,978.01 crore compared to Rs 1,996.65 crore in the previous year. Relaxo Footwear's consolidated net profit fell 8.4% to Rs 56.22 crore in Q4 FY25 as compared with Rs 61.39 crore in Q4 FY24. Thermax Q4 PAT jumps 8% YoY to Rs 206 cr; declares dividend of Rs 14/sh

Revenue from operations grew by 11.62% to Rs 3,084.93 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2025. Profit before tax (PBT) was at Rs 300.64 crore in Q4 FY25, up 19.84% as against Rs 250.86 crore posted in Q4 FY24. On the segmental front, revenue from industrial products stood at Rs 1,430.41 crore (up 18.47% YoY), revenue from industrial infra stood at Rs 1,415.19 crore (up 4.32% YoY), revenue from green solutions stood at Rs 151.87 crore (up 4.14% YoY) and revenue from chemical segment stood at Rs 210.10 crore (up 36.32% YoY) during the quarter. As of 31 March 2025, the order balance stood at Rs 10,693 crore, reflecting a 6% increase from Rs 10,111 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Order booking for the quarter was Rs 2,119 crore, representing an 8% decline compared to Rs 2,309 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. The quarterly results were affected by the recognition of higher technology intervention costs amounting to Rs 66 crore in Bio-CNG projects under the industrial infra segment. On standalone basis, the company's net profit zoomed 113.96% to Rs 275.05 crore in Q4 FY25 as against Rs 128.55 crore posted in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations added 13.46% YoY to Rs 1,971.65 crore posted in Q4 FY25. The order booking for the quarter declined by 6% to Rs 1,526 crore, compared to Rs 1,623 crore in the same period last year. The order backlog as of 31 March 2025 stood at Rs 6,026 crore, a decrease of 3% from Rs 6,213 crore. Meanwhile, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 14 per share for FY 2024-25. The record date for payment of dividend is fixed as Friday, 4 July 2025. Further, the board has approved the re-appointment of Ashish Bhandari as managing director, chief executive officer, and key managerial personnel of the company for a further term of five years, effective from September 1, 2025, to 31 August 2030. Sensex, Nifty pare losses; realty shares rally

The frontline indices erased all losses and traded with minor gains mid-afternoon trade. The Nifty traded above the 22,500 level after hitting the day's low of 22,314.70 in early trade. Realty shares advanced after declining in the past three consecutive trading sessions. At 14:30 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex rose 31.06 points, or 0.04%, to 74,148.43. The Nifty 50 index added 43.30 points, or 0.19%, to 22,503.60. In the broader market, the S&P BSE Mid-Cap index rose 0.70% and the S&P BSE Small-Cap index declined 0.58%. The market breadth was weak. On the BSE, 1,368 shares rose and 2,527 shares fell. A total of 127 shares were unchanged. Buzzing Index: The Nifty Realty index jumped 3.70% to 829.25. The index dropped 3.36% in the past three consecutive trading sessions. Phoenix Mills (up 5.95%), Macrotech Developers (up 5.71%), DLF (up 4.13%), Godrej Properties (up 3.66%), Oberoi Realty (up 3.59%) and Sobha (up 1.14%) advanced. On the other hand, Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down 1.74%), Raymond (down 1.71%) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.45%) edged lower. Numbers to Track: The yield on India's 10-year benchmark federal paper rose 0.02% to 6.812 as compared with previous close 6.810. In the foreign exchange market, the rupee edged higher against the dollar. The partially convertible rupee was hovering at 87.2275, compared with its close of 87.3100 during the previous trading session. MCX Gold futures for 4 April 2025 settlement rose 0.50% to Rs 85,850. The US Dollar index (DXY), which tracks the greenback's value against a basket of currencies, was down 0.48% to 103.42. The United States 10-year bond yield fell 0.43% to 4.195. In the commodities market, Brent crude for May 2025 settlement gained 23 cents, or 0.33% to $69.51 a barrel. Stocks in Spotlight: Thermax slipped 1.52%. The company said that Thermax Chemical Solutions has entered into an exclusive shareholder's agreement with Oswaldo Cruz Qu'mica Ind'stria e Com'rcio Ltda for manufacturing high-performance chemicals. E2E Networks dropped 4.16%. The company said that its cloud platform, E2E Cloud has launched sovereign cloud platform, providing a secure and scalable alternative for organizations looking to build and manage their own cloud environments. Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy declined 3.38%. The company said that its board has approved the appointment of Ajit Pratap Singh as a chief financial officer (CFO) and key managerial personnel (KMP) with effect from 24 March 2025. Thermax Chemical Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Thermax. Oswaldo Cruz Qu'mica Ind'stria e Com'rcio Ltda (OCQ) is one of the leading chemical companies in Latin America producing resins and polymers. The two companies have agreed to establish a new company in India, with Thermax holding a majority with 51% stake and OCQ holding remaining 49%. The partnership aims to establish a dedicated production facility for manufacturing acrylic resins in India. The new entity will be responsible for manufacturing, trading, marketing and selling OCQ formulated materials by leveraging Thermax's existing resources, infrastructure and extensive customer base. To accommodate the new operations, Thermax will adapt its existing industrial plant at Jhagadia, Gujarat, India, and establish the first production line to manufacture acrylic resins. The new entity will strengthen Thermax's chemical portfolio, which currently includes ion exchange resins, water treatment chemicals, oil field chemicals, and construction chemicals. Ashish Bhandari, managing director and CEO, Thermax, said: 'OCQ is a leading company in its space, and partnering with them will help us manufacture and deliver high-performance chemicals to a wide range of industries. Initially, production will focus on acrylic resins'widely used in the paint, adhesives, infrastructure, textile and waterproofing industries. In the future, the plant will expand to include polyester and alkyd resins, among others. This step marks the beginning of our venturing into a new line of business within the chemical range of solutions.'
