JSWENERGY Stock Summary · February 2025
In Q3 FY25, the company faced moderated power demand growth of 2.7%, yet it remains optimistic about future opportunities in renewable energy and energy storage solutions, bolstered by a robust coal supply and decreasing prices. Significant capacity additions, particularly in solar and wind, are on track to enhance its portfolio, with the O2 Power acquisition expected to operationalize 2.3 GW by mid-2025. Despite a 27% decline in profit after tax due to increased finance costs and pricing pressures, the company is strategically focused on inorganic growth to achieve a total capacity of 20 GW by 2030. Regulatory challenges, particularly concerning battery energy storage tariffs, pose risks, but management's proactive approach to credit management and operational readiness suggests resilience in navigating the evolving energy landscape.
