EBITDA stood at Rs 82.5 crore in Q1 FY26, registering de-growth of 21.5% compared with Rs 105.1 crore in Q1 FY25. EBITDA margin contracted to 8.2% in Q1 FY26 as against 11.5% in Q1 FY25. Milk Procurement volume stood at 18.7 lakh litres per day (LLPD) in Q1 FY26, up 6.2% YoY. Average Milk Sales volume stood at 11.9 LLPD, an increase of 4.9% on a YoY basis. Value Added Products sales grew by 12.0% with a sale of Rs 351.6 crore in Q1 FY26 compared with Rs 313.9 crore in Q1 FY25. During Q1 FY26, bulk sales stood at Rs 57.72 crore, up 62.64% against Rs 35.49 crore in the same quarter last year. The company's Africa business reported a 26.9% a YoY growth in revenue. However, margins remained under pressure due to start of new Kenya plant, where the current focus is on capturing the market share strategic pricing. Additionally, procurement costs in the region were higher compared to Q1 FY25. Revenue from Orgafeed business for the quarter grew by 29.4% and EBITDA grew by 84.4% on a YoY basis. EBITDA margin stood at 17.6% in Q1 FY26. Dodla Sunil Reddy, managing director of Dodla Dairy, said, 'In Q1FY26, Dodla registered a highest-ever revenue of Rs 1,006. 9 crore with a YoY growth of 10.5%; this coincided with our highest-ever procurement of 18.7 LLPD. Several factors influenced our performance during this period. Our Indian operations were impacted due to a shorter summer, resulting in lower sales from summer related VAP products like curd, lassi, ice cream, etc. On the African side, while the business increased in revenue terms, our margins fell due to the focus on capturing higher market share in Kenya with the operations of the new plant in that region. This was partially offset by a healthy performance of our Orgafeed business which delivered a topline of Rs. 41.1 crore and EBITDA of 17.6%. Dodla Dairy is a leading Indian dairy company. It procures, processes, and sells a wide range of milk and milk products.
