EBITDA came in at Rs 354 crore, jumping 17.57% YoY and climbing 14.77% sequentially. Total expenses rose by 11.82% to Rs 3151.06 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 1757.47 crore, growing marginally by 6.89% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 250.97 crore, seeing a marginal contraction of 0.75% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew marginally by 2.31% to Rs 12366.42 crore, while net profit fell 13.67% to Rs 1618.3 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 196669% to Rs 1621.44 crore, and PBT declined 13.99% to Rs 2161.66 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 1219.51 crore in FY26, as against Rs 1331.8 crore in FY25. ABB India Ltd rallied 32.20% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.81% during the same period.

ABB’s Q2 2026 revenue reached INR 3,559 crore, a 21% year-over-year increase

ABB, a global leader in electrification and automation, reported INR 3,559 crore in revenue for the second quarter of 2026, its highest ever for a Q2, marking a 21% year-over-year increase. The company’s H1 2026 revenue reached INR 6,743 crore, up 13% year-over-year. While operational EBITA for H1 2026 slightly decreased to INR 865 crore, Q2’s operational EBITA rose to INR 461 crore. Profit After Tax for Q2 and H1 2026 were INR 370 crore and INR 712 crore respectively, representing an 8% and 11% year-over-year decrease. ABB has significantly reduced Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 85% since 2019 and declared a special dividend of INR 90.00 per share, driven by proceeds from the Robotics divestment and operational profits. The company also received recognition as India’s Most Sustainable Company in the Capital Goods category.

ABB Global's India order inflows include business generated by both its listed subsidiary, ABB India, and its unlisted entities operating in the country. The reported growth significantly exceeded market expectations. According to consensus estimates, analysts had expected India order inflows to increase by around 20%. The 81% jump marks one of the strongest performances for ABB's India business in recent years. The sharp acceleration also builds on the momentum seen in previous quarters. The company attributed the strong performance to sustained customer investments in electrification and automation, driven by energy expansion, energy efficiency and grid resilience. Investors will now turn their attention to ABB India's standalone results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026, due on 31 July 2026, for further insights into margins, execution, profitability and the strength of its order book.
