Music Broadcast Ltd. – a private FM Radio Broadcaster – said that the bonus issue of non-convertible non-cumulative redeemable preference shares (NCRPS) has been approved by equity shareholders and unsecured creditors.
The company will be issuing 1 NCRPS for every 10 shares held by public shareholders. These NCRPS will be redeemed at Rs 120 after three years from the allotment. The record date would be announced post-NCLTs approval of the scheme.
The biggest risk for a shareholder or an investor here is a sharp fall in share prices. Music Broadcast is a debt-free company with cash of Rs 264 crore on its book as of FY22.
