The details of each part are as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"General-information\"><\/span><strong>General information<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The general information of the EPF Form 2 contains basic details of the employees as listed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Name of the member<\/li><li>Father\u2019s\/Husband\u2019s name<\/li><li>Date of birth<\/li><li>Gender<\/li><li>Marital status<\/li><li>Account number<\/li><li>Temporary and permanent address&nbsp;<\/li><li>EPF and EPS joining date<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Part-A-EPF\"><\/span><strong>Part A (EPF)<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This part of Form 2 (revised) is about the nominee you like to add to your EPF account. The details you need to provide here are as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Name of the Nominee(s)<\/li><li>Address<\/li><li>Nominee\u2019s relationship with the member<\/li><li>Date of birth<\/li><li>Total amount or share of accumulations in Provident Funds to be paid to each nominee<\/li><li>If the nominee is a minor, give the details of the guardian&nbsp;<\/li><li>Signature or thumb impression of the account holder (subscriber)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Part-B-EPS\"><\/span><strong>Part B (EPS)&nbsp;<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The EPF Form 2 contains the details about the Employees&#8217; Pension Scheme. Note that 8.33% out of 12% of an employer&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tickertape.in\/blog\/how-good-is-the-cut-in-your-epf-contribution\/\">EPF contribution<\/a> is deposited in the EPS account of the member. The nominee will get access to the funds accumulated in the EPS. The details required are as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Name of the family member<\/li><li>Address of the family member<\/li><li>Date of birth<\/li><li>Relationship with the member<\/li><li>Signature or thumb impression of the subscriber<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>In case of nomination for monthly widow pension (admissible under Para 16 2(a) (i) and (ii)), the member has to give detail such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Name and address of the nominee<\/li><li>Date of birth<\/li><li>Relationship with member<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Certificate-by-the-employer\"><\/span><strong>Certificate by the employer<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The employer needs to mention certain details as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Name of the employee<\/li><li>Authorised officer\u2019s signature<\/li><li>Designation of the officer<\/li><li>Date<\/li><li>Place<\/li><li>Name and address of the organisation and stamp<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Steps-to-fill-EPF-Form-2-online\"><\/span><strong>Steps to fill EPF Form 2 online<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>An existing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tickertape.in\/blog\/uan-universal-account-number\/\">UAN<\/a> member can submit the nomination form online by following the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in\/memberinterface\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">EPF member portal<\/a> using your UAN and password.<\/li><li>Go to the \u201cManage\u201d section and select the \u201ce-Nomination\u201d option.<\/li><li>Give the \u201cPermanent Address\u201d and \u201cCurrent Address\u201d and click on \u201cSave\u201d.<\/li><li>Select whether you have a family or not.<\/li><li>Enter your family details such as name, date of birth, gender, relation, address, guardian (in case of minors), Aadhaar number and click on \u201cSave Family Details\u201d.<\/li><li>Click on \u201cAdd Row\u201d if you want to add more nominees.<\/li><li>Select the nominees added and their share on your EPF and save the details.<\/li><li>Follow the same steps for the EPS section for availing benefits of the pension scheme.<\/li><li>Now go to the \u201cManage\u201d section and select the \u201ce-Nomination\u201d option to e-sign and complete the process.<\/li><li>To verify the details given, enter your Aadhaar number and click on \u201cGet OTP\u201d.<\/li><li>Enter the OTP you got on your registered mobile number.
