In a tie-up with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tickertape.in\/stocks\/equitas-small-finance-bank-EQU?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=article\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><meta charset=\"utf-8\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tickertape.in\/stocks\/equitas-small-finance-bank-EQU?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=article\">Equitas Small Finance Bank<\/a><\/a>, Google Pay has launched the facility of booking digital <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.tickertape.in\/alternatives-to-fixed-deposits\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fixed deposits<\/a> (FD) on its platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Initially, this service is only available for users accessing Google Pay on the Android app. Users can book an FD on Google Pay in under 2 minutes without having to open a bank account with Equitas Small Finance Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This allows users to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tickertape.in\/blog\/why-should-you-prioritise-investing\/\">invest<\/a> in an FD without any hassles, from the comfort of their homes. Equitas covers their FDs by a deposit guarantee of up to Rs 5 lakh per depositor. They offer a 6.5% <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tickertape.in\/blog\/flat-interest-rate-vs-reducing-balance-interest-rate\/\">interest rate<\/a> on a fixed deposit of one year, which is higher than many other savings avenues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simple steps to book an FD with Equitas Small Finance Bank:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Open Google Pay app on Android<\/li><li>Scroll down to \u2018Businesses and bills\u2019<\/li><li>Click on the \u2018Equitas SFB\u2019 logo<\/li><li>Select a desired amount and tenure for the FD<\/li><li>Key-in personal and KYC details<\/li><li>Complete the payment via Google Pay UPI<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On booking an FD, users can track their deposit from the Equitas Bank Spot on Google Pay. They can use the space to book new FDs and also to request a premature withdrawal.
