You don\u2019t have to jump to another platform to place your orders. You can analyse your chosen stocks on Tickertape and transact from here via your broker account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Basket\"><\/span><strong>Basket<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Basket is like a cart on an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tickertape.in\/blog\/buying-stocks-gets-as-convenient-as-making-online-purchases\/\">e-commerce<\/a> site. It accommodates both Buy Orders to buy stocks\/ETFs and Sell Orders to sell scrips. Before starting out a transaction on Tickertape, ensure that <a href=\"https:\/\/help.tickertape.in\/support\/solutions\/articles\/82000143079-how-does-basket-work-?ref=blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">your broker account is connected to your Tickertape account<\/a>. Then, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Head on to Tickertape\u2019s screener, filter stocks\/ETFs based on ratios and key metrics and evaluate each of them on the respective stock pages<\/li><li>Once satisfied with your evaluation, click on \u2018Place Order\u2019. Once on \u201cYour Basket\u201d page, you have the following options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Copy the list of stocks\/ETFs to the watchlist, and vice-versa<\/li><li>Switch between Buy and Sell Order types for each stock\/ETF. You can do this by launching the options dropdown menu: click on the \u2018three dots\u2019 on the respective stock row. Then select Move to buy or Move to sell, as is required<\/li><li>Place individual stock orders. Click on the options dropdown menu and select Buy or Sell for individual stocks<\/li><li>Place an order for the entire basket by clicking on Place Orders button<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Things-to-note-when-using-Transactions-and-Basket-features-on-Tickertape\"><\/span><strong>Things to note when using Transactions and Basket features on Tickertape<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The amount next to the Place Orders button mentions the net value of the transaction, which you either have to receive or pay, based on whether the transaction is an overall Net Buy or Net Sell<\/li><li>Orders under Transactions are placed as market orders. Ergo, the final executed price of the trade may differ from the prices displayed here. Also, note that this amount is simply the net price of the transaction so it doesn&#8217;t include other charges such as brokerage and STT<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Those were Transactions and Basket features for you.
